Momentarium : : by Markuz Wernli Saitô

Shadow Followers: Participants’ pictures.

Together with interpreter Le Ngoc Son I invited 15 local people in Bao Loc (Lam Dong, Vietnam) to take photographs every day of things they found noteworthy and important, using single-use cameras.

This photo album is a small selection of the 1200 something photos taken in four weeks and a tribute to the 15 participants in Bao Loc. Many photographers had difficulties to keeping to snap an image every two hours between 7 am and 5 pm (Vietnamese daily life starts early...). But many got quickly used to the single-use cameras and developped an eye of discovery for what surrounds them. In some instances the camera was also passed around in the family and neighborhood.
